One full week into Black Chicago Eats Week (BCEW) Chicagoans are exploring new restaurants, checking in at their favorite spots to show support and appreciation to the often underexposed chefs, bakers and restaurants who help keep Chicago fed.
BCEW gives local foodies and visitors an opportunity to discover incredible Black owned eateries. The first Black Chicago Eats Week kicked off July 29 and goes through August 12.
So far, consumers have explore eateries throughout the city and surrounding suburbs and experience Black Chicago’s rich, culinary diversity.
Consumers are encouraged to view the list here, pick a restaurant, visit and post a pic on social media with #BlackChicagoEats.
