Established June 2015 by a current Chicago Police Officer, 19 Pau BBQ, is the new barbecue restaurant in Beverly offers food that’s so good, “it should be a crime.”
Owner Officer Kurrin Beamon offers an extensive menu of home made barbecue and side dishes, all prepared from recipes handed down from Beamon’s mother and grandmother. Pork and beef brisket are smoked for a minimum of 14 hours and rubbed with a special blend of spices.
The 19 Paul menu is as fun to read as it is appetizing. Dishes are named using police terminology – Top Brass St. Louis Ribs, Beat Cop Basket (which is also offered as a “sticky fingers special”), Under Cover BBQ Chicken and many more.
