Doughboy’s Chicago Brings South Side Flavor to South Loop with New Location

CHICAGO — Doughboy’s Chicago, a beloved South Side eatery known for its inventive comfort food and community spirit, has relocated from its original 71st Street spot to a new home in the South Loop at 2537 S. Wabash Ave. The move marks a new chapter for the family-owned business, expanding its reach while maintaining the soulful flavors that earned it a loyal following.

The transition was announced via social media, with the team promising “the same great taste from 71st Street—now in the South Loop” . The new location boasts extended hours, staying open until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 1 a.m. on weekends, catering to late-night diners seeking hearty meals.

Doughboy’s menu continues to feature fan favorites like the “Spaghedough” pasta, seasoned wings, and the signature “Judy Juice.” The restaurant also offers delivery through major platforms and participates in the EBT/Link Restaurant Meals Program, emphasizing accessibility for all patrons.

The move to the South Loop not only introduces Doughboy’s to a broader audience but also reflects the team’s commitment to growth and community engagement. As the Fryison family continues to serve up their unique blend of flavors and hospitality, they invite both longtime supporters and new customers to experience what makes Doughboy’s a cherished part of Chicago’s culinary landscape.

As my brother put it,”I’m sooo in love with spaghedoughhhhh.” Yes! The food is amazing. It tastes so good. I love the seasoning and the menu variety. Doughboy’s Chicago is my favorite place to eat when I’m in Chi Town. Congrats on the new spot Dough. I can’t wait to pull up.

The family of entrepreneurs ensures that every aspect of customer service satisfaction is highly regarded…..timely, consistent, responsive, and kind workers. I have placed several large catering orders and they are ALWAYS on point! My personal favorite dishes are the herbal wings, catfish nuggets, and the dirty rice is amazing! What are you waiting for? 💕🥰
