Pioneering Black-Owned Coffee Enterprise Spearheads Early-Stage Food Business Incubator Grant

Momentum Coffee, the trailblazing Black owned-and-operated coffee chain with a location in Millennium Park, proudly announces the launch of The BUILD Momentum Food Incubator, powering food entrepreneurs. The incubator is designed to help early-stage food businesses thrive. The City of Chicago made the program possible by awarding a grant to BUILD Chicago, which chose Momentum Coffee to run the program. BUILD partnered with Momentum Coffee because of their commitment to innovation, community empowerment, and entrepreneurial excellence. 

With a focus on serving communities with the most significant food insecurity and emerging food corridors, this program seeks to expand, enhance, and restore the food industry using equity and a community-based approach. The BUILD Momentum food incubator will serve businesses in the Austin community and the west side of Chicago.
